Petro Launches Quick Serve Petroleum Retail in Uyo

Nigeria’s number 1 pure-play petroleum products retail app has launched its ‘Petro and Petro sellers’ services in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Residents in Uyo City, with the aid of the buyer app, can now order petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and lubricants. Owners of fuel stations in Uyo can digitize their stations, update product prices, fulfill purchase orders from buyer apps, and carry out real-time monitoring of their operations.

In July this year, Petro already made a huge success in-app testing familiarization from various users to ensure that buyers and sellers of petroleum products can easily utilize the service. The startup is focused on providing a digital platform for the seamless retail of petroleum products.

Placing orders with Petro will not cost any more than the regular fee for products ordered and delivered. At the same time, gas station owners can build better relationships with their customers.  Petro says that offering speed, convenience, and quality control would help drive market and retail efficiency.

For today’s smart people, finding easier ways to do things is a big deal. Bringing this ease to the petroleum retail business through Petro, is a major accomplishment for Yene Tech; said Mfoniso Robert, Product Manager, Nigeria.

Yene Tech, the parent company of Petro says they will have Petro services up and running in five major cities (Akwa Ibom, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja) in Nigeria by the end of the year.
